A Clean Zone is an area that has been identified and selected based on an unsatisfactory level of cleanliness to be upgraded as a clean area.

Based on the results of the Management Meeting No. 03/2013 dated 20 February 2013, the Management confirmed that the areas selected for the Clean Zone Programme 2013 were Sections 2, 3, 4 and 5. This selection was made as the areas were the earliest development in Shah Alam and much effort was needed for improvement and maintenance of their public facilities and infrastructure.
To instil the awareness, culture and love for cleanliness through community participation, making the state the cleanest in Malaysia.
