CLIENT CHA​RTER

In an effort to provide an efficient, accurate and effective on an ongoing basis, our MBSA employees are fully committed in giving guarantee to:

  1. Take action to repair road damages, traffic lights, drains, collapsed banks, street lights and council assets within 24 hours and in not more than one month.

  2. Perform domestic waste collection, clean public areas and drains perfectly based on schedules.

  3. Process and recommend development plans including the plan layout of building, engineering plans and landscape plans within one hour and in not more than 47 days from the date of the acceptance of application except for converting building planning permission that must not exceed 57 working days.

  4. Approve the non-risk business license within 1 hour and to process applications for industrial and business license within 30 days.

  5. Provide complaint feedback to the complainant within 14 working days.

  6. Distribute assessment tax bill at the / by latest on 1 January and 1 July every year.​

  7. Approve voucher payment to the contractor/supplier c​ouncil within five (5) working days from the date of documents receipt from the department.

  8. Grant approval for halls, squares, vehicles, entertainment equipment and sports facilities rental within one to 5 days.
