Functions of the Department

  1. Processing of building plan approvals.

  2. Executing the enforcement duties for the implementation of development projects. 

  3. Inspecting buildings for the purpose of CF issuance. ​

  4. Providing building plans project design and managing building project of the Council.​

Customer Charter

  1. Receiving proposals (pc), additional amendments (t/p) and amendments to the approved plan (pkpl) (except bangle) from the one-stop Centre (OSC), reviewing, processing and issuing of acknowledgement of recommendation within seven (7) working days to be tabled in the meeting of the one-stop Centre committee (osc). 

  2. Processing and approving new proposals bangle plan within one (1) working day from the date of receipt provided that the application complies with the council conditions.

  3. Processing and approving the application on additional / amendment of proposed plan (t/p) of residence within one (1) working day from the date of receipt provided that the application complies with the council conditions.​

  4. Processing and approving the application on additional / amendment of proposed plan (t/p) of residence using equivalent plan within one (1) hour provided that the application complies with the council conditions.

  5. Processing and issuing of Certificate of Fitness (CF) within 14 working days from the date of acceptance of 'E' Form (for application of plan approval that was issued before CCC implementation (12 April 2007). 

  6. Processing permit application and issuing permit approval letter for temporary building using equivalent plan within one (1) working day from the date of clear receipt (except for temporary building permit for construction site). 

  7. Processing and approving of permit application for telecommunication tower within 14 working days from the date of clear receipt. ​

  8. Processing and approving permit for telecommunication tower and transmitter (on buildings) using equivalent plan within one (1) day, provided that the application complies with the council conditions.

  9. Processing, producing review, providing payment order for the application of refund of deposit to the finance department within 14 working days from the date of acceptance.​

  10. Taking action on complaints received within three (3) working days from the date of acceptance, provided that the complaint accepted is complete.​
